Usually i decide on a topic for posting one or two days earlier...But this time i could not decide on a topic...I was wondering what am gonna write this time...Because I have written everything i can write ranging from my personal experiences to movies to controversies to current affairs...I don't believe in providing same old kinda things...I was deeply thinking about some unusual topic for this post..By that time around, this came to my mind....

yeah,as the topic suggests,I'm gonna write about blogs and bloggers ...U very well know that, the technology and trend change every now and then ...Day before yesterday it was e-mails and chats which made huge waves with people... Yesterday it was orkuts and facebooks which were buzzwords among NXG..And, what about today?...Any guesses..

Lemme say it myself ,today it is blogging..I see many seriously blogging bloggers having their own blogs these days...U may see a lot of blogs synonymous to websites in almost all languages... This, according to me is the beginning of catching up blogging trend ...If i'm not wrong this trend of blogging will catch up rapidly in near future...

Talking about blogs, blogging was started by famous people(computer geeks who were from Top notch MNC's and employees of web giants) and celebrities...They were like on-line dairies for them..Many people started visiting these blogs to know those geeks and celebrities very well...For example you might know people like Aamir khan,Nandhan Nilekani and Paulo coelho have been blogging for a long time...These are people who have huge fan following and good popularity...Their fans wanted to know them better and visitors were interested in knowing their take on different things... So virtually they can write whatever crap they want since they have people to see it,but they luckily are not doing that...Their posts were small descriptions or cues for their promos and to make their point about certain things...And it has become a unofficial rule that content must be short and sweet...

Not only biggies but many other people who can not afford a website started using blogs to provide download resources and tutorials and for tech related stuffs...You might have come across lot of such blogs...Even some are successful in making money out of blogs...

But recently one can see a whole lot of small time bloggers blogging around and torturing people...These are people who are stinged by recession and unemployment bee...(people of my kind :P)...When i visited a blogger community in orkut i got a clear picture about this...

As i said earlier celebrity's visitors wanted celebrities to write about themselves but when it comes to these small time bloggers what would they write?...They can not write their opinion coz,who would care?..

We are the kinda guys who are born to break rules...We blog according to our wishes ...No myths or rules...We(especially me) broke the conventional blogging style and posted Anna univ answer like big posts...We follow celebrity style(criticizing and mocking others :p) blogging without caring about number of visits...

You very well know that i always relate myself and my opinions to the topic ,this time also i am doing the same ...

I started blogging in 2008..I can say im a pioneer or trendsetter...He he he..Just kidding..Initially i didn't find time and i even not had enough skills to channelize my thoughts...So blogging came to an abrupt end...But luckily as i have stated earlier in my College experience post ,the loneliness and my boring daily routine made me to take up blogging again 3 months ago...I started writing the sort of things which i would discuss with my friends when i was in college...I even retained the narration style which i used with my friends...The frankness, sarcasm, freaky remarks,build-ups and punch dialogues were the result of such approach...

Personally i don't think posting a big post is a bad idea..When you have lot of things to say and as long as it doesn't bores there is nothing wrong in that..If you have visitors who are comfortable with it..you just go ahead...But don't write essays like me..

I'm not sure how well i have gratified anyone who clicked my blog...But with all modesty i can say i had made/would make all my visitors laugh and think at least for 1 second through this blog...

Finally What i wanna say is "Break the rules and conventions"...Do what you feel like doing...Who can ask us...Start blogs and torture your friends to read them...;)

She is 63....But she doesn't seem like...To be precise she must be some 10,063 but i'm counting her age from 1947..Well ,that's our beloved lady , MOTHER INDIA'S age, who celebrated her birthday(a sort of) recently...
It's because before 1947 ,the country was scattered,we were ruled by different rulers and had different styles of rulers...The rulers promoted their interests like augmenting more wealth and landscapes .She was daunted by foreign invaders and finally suffered great conquest by Britain due to useless and some unfamiliar kings of those days.

So what has happened to her ?...How is she now?..Had things changed after independence?..Did freedom help her to achieve political and economic freedom?

To be candid i must say that she is doing good i mean not too bad...India has reached great heights in just an half-century where its counterparts took 150 or 200 years to attain that status...India is now one of the booming economies along with China and Brazil, which would virtually dictate terms in near future...Eventhough the numbers and GDPs suggest that we are lagging behind, the truth is we are going good...

We have successfully built our own Nuclear-submarine with indigenous technology...A technology which is known only to a select group of 5 countries...I would say this is a remarkable achievement by our scientists in a time where some of the best brains of the country lured by green cards and dollars, are serving for foreign countries (it is said that about 25% of NASA scientists were Indians at a certain point of time...And the software program for Discovery which landed in Mars was written by a Tamilian).. INS-ARIHANT stands as a symbol of our native technological expertise...

We have launched a satellite to moon...Gone are the days where you can mock that the satellites made in ISRO finally would reach its orbit in Bay of Bengal..Now we have conquered moon..Eventhough a star-sensor mal-function had been reported, it has achieved more or less its purpose as per Mr.Madhavan Nair,ISRO chief...Moreover,we are gearing up for CHANDRAAYAN-2's launch in 2011 to study lunar landscape in detail...

The above said points suggest that things have changed and improved...
Unfortunately ,things have not changed from worst to the best but only from worst to the better...Even though the country has made huge breakthroughs, it still is facing critical problems like illiteracy, child labor, poverty, poor infrastructure and above all ,the biggest menace terrorism...What's going wrong?..

Anyone with an average intelligence can say that we could have been in a better position in terms of economy and development by this point of time, had the resources been utilized and administered well..And again i have to point my fingers towards politicians and government servants...

As many as 14 prime minister's have ruled this country, but you can't single out anyone as a great leader except may be one or two ...It doesn't mean all of them were inefficient but some of them lacked clear vision, innovation or grit to push the country to the next level.. A leader who can think out-of the-box.

For instance take education..Do we have a good education system?... Of course not because the basic reason is that our education system produces good students not good innovators, good workers who complies to industry standards but not good leaders who can set industry standards...
Our schools and colleges prepare us to become good employees but not good enterprenuer or a innovator...It is well known that India is a important player in the world software market ...But how many recognized software products or brands do we have?..Yes, we have world class companies like Infosys, Wipro, Tcs, Hcl etc etc which make huge revenues..but these are consultants and solution providers who make softwares for specific companies...Do we have a internationally recognized anti-virus software or a operating system or a web giant?..No..More over many Indians play crucial role in making those recognized products.. But the credit goes to some other..At the end of the day pride matters a lot than money...

I would say leaders of M.K.Gandhi's or S.C.Bose's forte were the need of the hour in the current scenario who can lead the country with some common sense...But this is a peculiar country where Noble-souls like Gandhi would be criticized or as my friend said on the other day would be "cursed" by some people...

Well, individuals can have their own opinions, they have their rights...The rights for which some people gave their life...to defend these so-called rights...But i don't think it is wise to utter blasphemies on the people who gave their heart, body and soul for us,to enjoy those rights.. ...

people allege Gandhi, as the main reason for dividing India and Pakistan and for the way he handled S.C.Bose...I also feel bad about the way Bose was treated..In 1939 Bose won Congress elections but he resigned the congress president post because of the ideological differences between him and Gandhi...The Gandhian dominated congress working committee leaders urged Bose to seek Gandhi's guidance in all issues ... As far as the first reason is concerned, i would say it is the wise and sensible thing...

In 1885 congress was started...Initially the demands of congress were for privileges and concessions..The British also gave concessions as they would throw a bone without meat to their dogs... This mentality irked some portion of congressmen who parted from congress in 1906...They were called Extremists and the rest were moderates...

The Extremists especially the trio "LAL BAL PAL" Lajpat rai, Bal Ganghadhar Thilak n Bipin chandra pal gave severe headache to British through demonstrations and hartals..During partition of Bengal Thilak revived Ganesh and shivaji festivals to use it as a means to fight British..They were the first to demand Swaraj and Thilak said it was our birthright...People got motivated as a result and turned in large numbers to show their dissent...Armed struggle and vigorous fighting methods were employed by some cadres in Bengal,Tamil nadu,Punjab and Maharashtra...

Congress was in pieces ,but when Gandhi came into picture in 1916 everything changed...He had the charm and smartness to bring everyone together...He guided people with clear vision and determination...Without him freedom struggle would have gone bizarre...Perhaps we could have attained freedom through arms but the following words of Gandhi shows what would have happened ..It goes like this,

Victory attained by violence is tantamount to a defeat, for it is momentary...

He masterminded many efficient non-violent movements...He also fought for social injustices like untouchability...What sets him apart is his intelligent moves like using chakra in order to support native weavers, his special concern towards untouchables, swadeshi and boycott movements..All these were the ultimate factors which made him a great leader who had a huge influence on the masses...

In terms of love towards the country we had some, one in million people like Bhaghat singh,Thirupur Kumaran,Bharathiyar,Ashfaqualla,Ram bismil,Sukh dev and some individuals who involved in kakori conspiracy case(Rang de Basanthi movie would give a more clear idea about this...),Laxmi bai,Kattaboman,Tipu sultan and many more...
A guy gave his life to save Indian flag from falling down... some people staged hunger strike for 141 long days when they were in jail...A man went and threw bomb in assembly and surrendered himself inorder to get his voice heard, even after knowing that he would be hanged if caught...It was unbelievable and only their intense and deep love for their country and rock solid determination should have pushed them to do this...I would say these sacrifices were far more great than Gandhi's...

But on contrary to what i have said earlier todays youths are not even ready to cross their doorsteps to cast vote...But they would talk and criticize politicians... Guys enough is enough ,this is the time for us to act with social responsibility ...So lets remember and honor all those who made it possible for us to have a peaceful and independent life..Lets join hands and try to realize the dreams they had..

Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country

(I thought of coming up with this post on August 15..But since i was little busy i could not...since i am late i have posted a possibly longest post in 3 parts..I Hope u like it)

U might have attended many interviews(like me,i'm gonna score a century), u might have come across many questions in interviews, some of which might have driven u crazy and some of them might have made u scratch ur head...So by this point of time u should have accustomed to answering difficult questions or atleast u should hav learnt the tactics of either convincing or confusing(if u r bestowed with this trait u will get a job soon and thats my promise) the interviewer...let me check how far u have mastered that trade....I'm gonna ask a question, don't worry i wont ask any tech stuff bcoz i myself don't know those aspects (Cs,C++s,JAVA s...would make me go mad...Hope it's same with u)..Instead I'm asking a simple question which is gonna check ur presence of mind...

This is my problem...I'm asking u to organize a meeting...The meeting deals with a mind-numbing topic...Anyone who is in his right sense of mind wouldn't attend that meeting...But you have to organize a large crowd...What would you do rather how would you do that????....

When i asked this question to some of my friends, their answers were,

1.I would advertise that Deepika, Katrina , Shruthi hassan and Megan fox are coming for that meeting...

2.I would advertise that MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar and Shahrukh khan are attending that meeting...

Eventhough these ideas were good, one of my friend came up with a more pragmatic, efficient and cost-effective idea..He said he would advertise as follows,

Wanted Freshers For a reputed Software company.
Qualification B.E/B.Tech,MCA.
Salary upto 28k.

Date:32/13/9002

Venue:Dubagur Infotech/Solutions/Consultants (near Govinda nagar Bus stop).

It's unbelievable...What he said absolutely made sense...There can be no better idea than this...Nowadays one can see large crowd in interviews than in Cinema theatres or in any other popular hang outs...(Natla vela illa thindatam thala virichu aduthu, adhuku sada pinni poo vaika oru nalla arasiyal vadhi illa)...

This unemployment took its heavy toll mainly on Engineers that too on those who had aspirations to be Software engineers(Unlucky and morons like me)...All those who pursued Comp.sci engg or IT are cursing themselves and blaming themselves for taking this stream in a wrong time.
The worst part is not about getting a job or finding a good job but it is all about getting a proper interview.I myself have attended more than 30 interviews but none is a proper iview( i mean none resembled like a professional interview with aps, tech and Hr rounds),it will be either a consultancy which would try everything to get money out of my pocket(Conventionally a tech round will be conducted where they would ask questions(for which they themselves don't know the answers) which u had not heard before and would ask you to join a course or ask some 30 or 50k to place you) or it would be a software company which will place conditions(such as bond for 2 years,5k salary,Salary will be hiked after 6 months based on performance) implicitly stating that I'm their slave and i should accept whatever clause and conditions it has, and no matter how much I'm paid and how much I'm comfortable with the so called conditions..

If we start talking about the unemployed Geniuses(since I'm also one among them),there are two categories in them...

*Confused Unemployeds, and
*Determined unemployeds

Confused unemployeds are those who are not sure of whats happening and what's gonna happen next...(kanna kati katla vita madhiri feel irukavanga)..They could not come to any conclusion or can't make any decision due to many myths and advices from the people around them...
In this further there are 2 categories those who are confused about choosing carrer and another about jobs..The first is not sure of choosing a career. For example they will be in a fix to decide between a s/w job or a bpo job..One part of their mind will say "Hey,what u studied for and what are u now opting for?." and another will say"Don't be a fool, just take a job... whatever it may be and when recession ends you can switch over to s/w job."...

The later class people are confused about taking jobs..These people get confused about the things such as salary, conditions placed by the company or shall i go somewhere and search for a job, bonding issues etc. They are willing to take job but they are confused about the conditions and its outcome....

When it comes to Determined Unemployeds, these are the people who live a life of Lion. They wont even discuss or hear about anything out of their job interest. For instance a guy who has aspirations for a MNC s/w job wouldn't even stand in a place where the jobs about ITES are discussed. They would say I want this and i wouldn't compromise anything for that.I'm not sure even if a MNC comes after 8 months or 1 year whether they can crack that or do they have that confidence( I'm saying this coz the 2010 freshers will also be competing with them by that time)...I'm not intimidating anyone , the best will always survive so guys Best of luck for all those who belong to this category. But take care that you don't overlook possibilities...

Learning Vs Earning

The basic reasons for the confusions i have stated earlier are because of these two attributes. What's important earning or learning??..Those who think earning is important will be ready to take any job and they would move on.And those who favor learning will be choosy and picky and they are certain of what to take...But there is a third category which tries to strike a balance between these two attributes...I would say that these are the most pathetic creatures that you can see in the world(In short, ones like me).

My personal request or suggestion to all beloved unemployeds is
"JUST PURSUE WHAT UR HEART SAYS"...
Don't worry about coventions and myths.

But My dear Unemployed friends let me give you my medicine to you...I don't want a mere record of what's happening or tell you a sober-story...So let me put whatever i will say to myself when i feel crushed by this unemployment menace which can either make u laugh or give a source for inspiration.....

"Hey dude! jus remember one thing ordinary life will be smooth, happy and happening. But the lives of extra-ordinary people will be like a bed of thorn...Theyhave to face problems from all ends and from everyone...For instance Mahatma Gandhi had more problems than Hitler. He underwent more hard-ships than Hitler. But Who is celebrated, who is remembered??..So u are one of that kind(konjam over than but if that thought is within ur heart and unless u don't thrust this notion upon others there's nothing wrong).Remember Abraham Lincoln was a total loser until the age of 52 when he became American president,he was defeated in Governor,Vice-Prez elections before that and he lost his wife, his second wife divorced him and all non-sense happened with him only to make him the great Prez the U.S has ever seen.....So U will get ur time and u will make things count someday...And that day need not be so far...."

This is one of the kind of thought that would strike my mind when I'm feeling discouraged....Hope u also will come up with such a stupid but effective thought when u feel intimidated.

Whatever .....

Let me tell u only one thing,It's very sure that we(again my beloved unemployeds) will have our time and that's not far...I would like to dedicate a poem for my unemployed friends,(it's in tamil so those who don't know tamil please pardon me).... I wrote some 6 months back and i thought this fits the current topic i have posted....Finally the thing(useless blabs) which i wrote for me was utilized atleast in a acceptable place. So learn lesson from this, nothing is waste and everything that happens has a reason...I apologize for this long post...But I hope unemployment is not a silly problem and it deserves this lenghty article....Hope you enjoy this...
